Unveiling our combined Vibration and Low-Pressure Testing Equipment

As a testament to our commitment to excellence and drive for innovation, we are delighted to announce our newest in-house testing equipment: a low-pressure chamber which is compatible with our Random Vibration platform. This marks a significant improvement in our capabilities and will help for validating packaging integrity under real-world conditions.

Our new equipment aligns with the ISTA 3A optional test. The International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) has been at the forefront of establishing standards for packaging evaluation. This chamber allows us to subject packaged products to controlled low-pressure environments. Low-pressure testing simulates situations where packages experience changes in atmospheric pressure, like air freight or mountain passes. This allows us to evaluate the packaging integrity under low-pressure conditions, addressing risks such as leakage or damage to the content. The low-pressure chamber has dimensions of 85 x 85 x 85 cm.

Several industries, including pharmaceuticals, electronics, and perishable goods, can benefit from understanding the nuances of this combined testing. Different products may have unique packaging features or tailored packaging designs to ensure the reliability and safety of products during transport. Identifying vulnerabilities in packaging allows for targeted design improvements, reducing the risk of product damage during transit. By offering these testing services in-house, we provide a cost-effective solution for businesses looking to validate your packaging. Our testing services can be customized to meet the specific needs of your industry, ensuring that your products are transported without worries.

For inquiries or to schedule your packaging testing, please reach out to our MTC department, they are excited to collaborate with you in ensuring the safety and integrity of your products throughout the supply chain.
